Skin Rejuvenation Protocol
Overview
A comprehensive skin rejuvenation protocol combining daily topical peptide therapy with periodic microneedling and optional SubQ systemic support (GLOW blend). Targets collagen density, skin firmness, wrinkle reduction, hyperpigmentation, skin barrier function, and overall skin quality. GHK-Cu is the evidence-based foundation; Matrixyl and Argireline provide complementary collagen and expression-line benefits. Expected outcomes include measurably improved skin texture, firmness, hydration, and wrinkle depth over 3-6 months of consistent use.
Components
| Modality | Product/Peptide | Dose/Application | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| GHK-Cu serum | 1-2% topical | Apply to face, neck, decolletage | Twice daily (AM/PM) |
| Matrixyl serum | Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 | Layer after GHK-Cu or combined | Daily |
| Argireline serum | 10% concentration | Focus on expression lines | Daily |
| Microneedling | 0.5-1.5mm | Full face | Monthly |
| GHK-Cu GLOW blend SubQ | 1-2 mg | 2-3x/week | 4-8 weeks |
Optional expression-line support:
| Peptide | Application | Frequency |

| Syn-ake | Topical, expression areas | Daily |
Administration
- Daily routine (AM): Cleanse โ GHK-Cu serum โ Matrixyl โ Moisturizer with SPF. Allow each layer 60-90 seconds to absorb.
- Daily routine (PM): Cleanse โ GHK-Cu serum โ Argireline (expression lines) โ ยฑ Syn-ake โ Moisturizer. Retinol can be used on alternate PM nights but not the same application as peptides.
- Microneedling: Monthly professional or at-home (0.5mm or less) microneedling. Apply GHK-Cu serum immediately after when channels are open for maximum penetration. Avoid 48 hours after with Argireline (muscle relaxant โ counterproductive while channels are open).
- GLOW blend SubQ: Administered per compounding pharmacy protocol; systemic GHK-Cu supports skin from the inside out, complementing topical application
Cycling
- Topical peptides: Daily, continuous โ no cycling needed; no tolerance concerns
- SubQ GLOW blend: 4-8 week courses with 4-week breaks; can repeat 3-4x per year
- Microneedling: Monthly; extend to 6-weekly in sensitive skin or post-ablative healing
Expected Timeline
- Week 1-4: Improved hydration and radiance; skin texture smoothing beginning
- Month 2: Measurable wrinkle depth reduction; improved firmness
- Month 3: Collagen remodeling effects visible; significant improvement in skin quality
- Month 4-6: Peak remodeling; photographic comparison shows clear improvement vs baseline
- Ongoing: Maintained collagen density with continued protocol; skin "age clock" effectively slowed
Monitoring
- Baseline photography (standardized lighting, 3 angles) and repeat monthly
- VISIA skin analysis if available (wrinkle depth, texture, pores)
- Track hydration (skin elasticity self-assessment)
- Monitor for: retinol conflict, irritation from high-strength Argireline, post-microneedling healing
Contraindications
- Microneedling: Active acne, rosacea flare, open skin lesions, active herpes simplex outbreak
- Argireline: Not recommended immediately post-microneedling (muscle relaxation may interfere with healing)
- SubQ GHK-Cu: Active cancer; pregnancy; known hypersensitivity to copper
