What It Does

Matrixyl is the most researched and validated cosmetic anti-aging peptide. The palmitoyl fatty acid tail (palmitate) enhances skin penetration by mimicking the lipid structure of the stratum corneum. Once absorbed, the KTTKS sequence mimics a fragment of procollagen type I, activating fibroblasts to produce collagen I, III, and fibronectin via TGF-β signaling. Clinical studies show measurable wrinkle depth reduction and skin density improvement with 4–8 weeks of twice-daily application. It is a benchmark ingredient in professional anti-aging skincare.
